By using the website (examination.flugring.at), you agree to the following terms of use.

1. Purpose of the Website

The website is used for registration, document processing and payment for Austrocontrol examinations. In addition, users can upload proof of identity and registration forms for registration for Austrocontrol examinations and download the results of examinations taken. All corresponding personal data is processed for the fulfillment (or initiation) of the contract or due to legal obligation (Art 6 para 1 Z b and c GDPR).

2. Data Collected

We collect the following personal data as part of the registration and processing of Austrocontrol examinations:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Date of birth
  • Information required on the official AustroControl form.

These data are collected and processed for the proper registration for exams with the authority.

3. Data Storage

Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to process the contract with you or as required by law, but in any case for at least one month after the booked examination date.

4. Data Sharing

The data collected will only be passed on to the competent authority (AustroControl GmbH) to enable registration for and performance of the tests. If you use the PayPal payment option, your data will be forwarded to PayPal as part of the payment process. More information can be found in PayPal's privacy policy.

5. SSL Encryption

To protect your data, we use SSL encryption (Secure Sockets Layer), provided by Let’s Encrypt. This ensures that all data you enter on our website is transmitted securely and protected from unauthorized access. You can recognize SSL encryption by the "https://" in your browser’s address bar.

We reserve the right to update these terms of use if necessary. Changes will be published on the website. If changes affect existing contractual relationships, we will inform you in advance and give you the opportunity to object.
